The 2003 Patricia Chardonnay is an elegant style balancing natural acidity with intense fruit flavour. 42% of the fruit is from the Brown Brothers Banksdale vineyard, 3.5% from our Whitlands vineyard and the balance from Slattery and Napier vineyards located in the YeaValley. The Yea Valley experiences cool ripening conditions like our Banksdale and Whitlands vineyards. The vineyard selection contributes to a tight style with wonderful fig and mealy characters typical of a cool climate Chardonnay. |
