Chile

Its origin lies in Bordeaux, France. This is the second most harvested red variety in Chile. A smooth-bodied and friendly wine with tannins that are less forceful than in Cabernet Sauvignon and well-marked flavors of black plums, cherries, spices, smoke and pencil lead.

Aging8 months in small American oak barrels, 70% of the blend.
ColorBright, intense and deep purple.
AromaFruit-forward with distinct blackberry and plum notes, and delicate traces of vanilla and toast. Very well-integrated wood
PalateSmooth, good body. Balanced, ripe tannins and a delicious long finish.
Food PairingPasta, chicken-based recipes, ham, risotto, mild cheeses and Mexican food.
