 Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon

Image

Chile

Originally from Bordeaux, France, this is currently the most ubiquitous variety on a worldwide scope, a feat that is largely due to the fact that Cabernet was able to adapt successfully to almost every type of soil. When young, its most pervasive trait is the forcefulness of its tannins, which tend to soften over time and give way to exceptional, elegant, good-bodied, flavorful and round wines characterized by pepper, black fruit and cassis notes.
