The PENFOLDS Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon is a multi-district blend largely from the south east of South Australia - specifically, the Limestone Coast (including Coonawarra and Robe) and Bordertown.

The wine was first released in 1993 with the superb 1990 vintage. The wine was developed by John Duval, PENFOLDS former Chief Winemaker, in response to the increasing availability of high quality Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.

Although the style embraces the PENFOLDS multi-district blending philosophy, Bin 407 has become a definitive cool climate Australian Cabernet
